It's a Girl!
Baby Sanchez...Boy or Girl?

So we are not so good at this blog thing.....sorry it has taken so long to update. Keely has definitely been keeping us busy (in a good way:)). It's amazing how much she has grown and developed in this last month. We went to her one month check up on the 22nd and the doctor was very impressed with her. Keely is now 9.69lbs (which puts her in the 65.5 %tile for weight) and 21.5 inches long (which puts her in the 67.7 %tile for height). We are very happy to see her growing and healthy. She is now smiling at us, lifting her head, and finding her voice. She enjoys her tummy time and loves her bath time (now that her cord has fallen off). We are really enjoying our precious baby girl and being parents. We are reading baby wise and look forward to sleeping through the night hopefully in the next month or so (we can hope right?). Cash and Maverick are getting used to having another person in the house. They have been very sweet and very attentive to her. Whenever she cries they are quick to look at us, letting us know we need to help her:). Fortunately I think she got used to them barking when she was in the womb because it doesn't seem to faze her. Keely has decided that she prefers to be held....so we are trying to get her used to the swing, the bouncer, and just being content laying down on her own. We love that she likes to snuggle with us, but its nice to be able to have our hands free at times. Will is an amazing father and I am really enjoying see him love on our daughter. His face lights up when he gets home from work and Keely and I are waiting for him. He is now a pro at changing diapers and putting baby things together (i.e. swing, stroller, bouncer etc...). We thank God for all our wonderful family and friends who have been so helpful in this exciting time!

Keely Is Home
Wow! It is real! Keely Solana Sanchez has moved in. Alrighty, in a nut shell...we went in to the hospital on Sunday evening for a scheduled Induction (due to the high blood pressure) on Monday. Christy was put on magnesium to fight the high blood pressure which had some tuff side effects (slows labor and makes you feel like you've been hit by a truck). The next morning (Monday 12/22) Christy was given the pitocin to induce labor. We had a 20% chance of a vaginal delivery and praise God, we did it. Christy was able to push the baby out in 40min!...and at 8:30pm on Monday 12/22, there SHE was...Keely Solana:) We had a girl! She was 20inch long and weighed 6lb 11oz (not bad for being 2 weeks early). Not finding out the gender added to the whole expereince. It was like Keely in a matter of seconds took on this identity that was waiting to be claimed. Finding out we had a daughter right after delivering her was quite the moment. We were released from the hospital Christmas Eve and bringing Keely home for the first time was amazing. This truly was the best (early) Christmas present we ever got (of course after Jdesus). Now we have been playing the role of mom and dad...and quit honestly...really enjoy it even though it is at times exhausting. I truly didn't know how much time would pass by while just staring at her sleep or look around (always learning). She has captured our hearts right from the get-go. She had us at Waaahhhh!
